Cape Meares Loop Road -- The road closure between Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint and the town of Cape Meares is a challenge this season. Entrance to the park is via SR 131 out Third Street in Tillamook, through Netarts and then following the signs at Oceanside to the park. Thankfully, our visitors are great sign readers and attendance for April and June was UP from 2012.

We have been advised by Oregon Parks & Recreation Department that until further notice, tour groups going up in the tower at Cape Meares Lighthouse will be limited to six people at a time. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 

Entries to our photo contest are welcome through September 30, 2013. Winning photographs will be featured on our website and nice prizes, too.

Cape Meares Lighthouse - open April 1 thru October 31....11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (weather permitting)
